ati ales si conexiunea securizata SSL?

AM UITAT UN MIC DETALIU, INTRATI PE GMAIL WEB SI LA SETARI ACTIVATI SERVICIUL POP/IMAP!

Adica la Settings/ Forwarding and POP/IMAP/ POP Download:/ Status: POP is enabled si IMAP Access:/ Status: IMAP is enabled

merge si pop3 si imap doar ca la username-ul trebuie pus fara "@gmail.com"
pentru IMAP la Incoming selecatati SSL, Incoming port: 993, iar la Outgoing selectati TLS, Outgoing port: 587 (in meniul Advanced)

incoming server:imap.gmail.com
outgoing server:smtp.gmail.com

E-mail push si autentificare SMTP le-am bifat, MIME nu am bifat. Trebuie sa mearga, sa nu uiti ca trebuie sa ai activat POP3 si IMAP de la setari din contul tau de gmail. Daca tot nu reusesti sa-mi spui si iti spun setarile pas cu pas

eu folosesc setarile pe care vi le.am dat de un an si jumatate, merge la perfectie!

telefoanele symbian uiq fiind destepte stiu e-mail in mai multe feluri (POP3, IMAP, etc), deci pot fi mai multe setari, folositi ce e mai bine pt voi!

Setarile astea le aveam si eu, le-am mai verificat inca o data dar tot nu merge. Voi discuta cu un reprez. vodafone...poate inca exista o restrictie de la ei, sa mai verifice inca o data.

Ai incercat si cu IMAP cum ti-am zis? Iti reamintesc ca am mai vazut ca la unele persoane sa nu mearga pop3 la gmail... Practic nu e nici o diferenta notabila intre IMAP si POP3. Incearca, nu ai ce pierde!

Are vreo importanta faptul ca eu forwardez si in outlook-ul din computer mail-urile de pe acelasi cont gmail ? Poti folosi Pop3 / Imap pe mai multe statii cu setarile aceluiasi cont ?

Nu are importanta... Si eu pe S60 si altii cu UIQ3 folosesc Outlook impreuna cu Gmail si cu tel-ul si totul merge ok. Practic asta e si rostul outlook - sincronizezi totul de pe tel inclusiv mailurile.
