pai ar trebui sa ai optiune in movie maker pt asa ceva.cel putin in xp era...

pai in xp daca nu ma insel era parca atunci cand vroiai sa il salvezi...nu imi mai aduc aminte...in vista nu ai decat o singura optiune...adica fisier mswmm

@Cint: Windows 95 consuma mai putin ca Windows XP Nu vreau sa te conving ca Vista e mai bun decat XP... fiecare foloseste ce vrea muschi sai, dar e pacat sa incepem o propaganda impotriva Vista numai pentru ca noua nu ne place.

PS: functionarea impecabila a oricarui sistem depinde si de utilizatorul sau

Mie i-mi place Vista si chiar consider un salt (aceasta este parerea mea pur subiectiva) acu' fiecare este liber sa se exprime , eu am Vista Ultimate si merge la fel de bine ca XP chiar observ ca se deschid mai repede programele , asta insa la mine pe PC (Multi G de Ram si la Proc dual)

mosule...si in xp ..meniul e tactat la vreo 750ms sa se deschida. insa il poti seta tu sa aiba latenta de 1ms. da mi se pare ca ochiul nu face diferenta la 100ms.

de ce se deschid mai repede programele? prefetch mai mare + mai multe dlluri in kernel permanent incarcate.chiar si atunci cand nu ai nevoie de ele. d-aia si ia 750mb ram la pornire.

ps:si eu am incercat vista pe dual core si 2gb ram

si multi gb de ram...cred ca nu ai mai mult de 4

Cint tu i-mi aduci aminte de un prieten , la fel cand a aparut XP-ul era in stare sa ma si bata sustinea ca 98-ul lui este mai ok si mai bun , la fel am "insistat" ca nu-i adevarat si dupa cc 2-3 ani a recunoscut ca s-a inselat , lucru destul de dubios la el , fiind un tip foarte fixist , iata ca povestea se repeta am cu el aceeasi controversa translatata peste ani buni, raportata la avantaje/dezavantaze XP/Vista - acum as fi total "orb" sa nu recunosc ca Vista are si dezavantaje fata de XP , insa per total este ok , este un salt hai sa-i spunem generic tehnologic, desi suna cam mecanic or sa se gaseasca solutii in timp pentru rezolvarea unor probleme generate de folosirea acestui nou sitem de operare.
Da am 4 GB si intentionez sa mai achizitionez inca 4 desi deja mi se pare absurd , poate or sa fie utili doar ca sa ma laud la vecini

Xp a adus partitia ntfs... Vista nu a adus nimic revolutionar.

trecerea de la 98 la xp echivaleaza cu trecerea de la adobe photoshop 4,5,6 la CS2. pe cand trecerea de la xp la vista e un fel de trecere de la CS2 la CS3.
sa nu uitam ca si xp are releasuri pe x64...

Prietenul meu este din cei "stiutori" ...asta ma enerva/eaza cel mai tare...

nu prea pare...adica...cat de poti fi sa pastrezi ceva pe FAT in locul la NTFS .chiar si in acele vremuri de inceput...NTFS avea avantaje clare. Ce ti-e si cu "stiutorii" astia...si pe share am vazut cativa ... o tin una si buna.

Eu nu am o conceptie fixa. numai ca in urma folosirii ambelor (vista si xp) pe 2 sisteme ,am observat diferentele... Daca vrei sa-mi schimbi parerea,dupa cum ziceam..facem o lista cu pro si contra si tragem linie

) iubesc parerile impartite ) eu unul nu ma las de acest moft frumos si in curand am sa tunez laptopul ca sa rulez si eu k lumea un sistem de operare: vista,xp,mac... mie unul imi pare o mare diferenta in viteza de prelucrare a datelor in vista care e vizibil mai rapida decat la un xp si al doilea e securitatea. securitatea este mult mai sporita la vista fata de xp[defender si un firewall mai decent]si ramul este un mic impediment pentru mine,dar vorba aia: "vrei calitate...platesti "

driver signing check si firewall inseamna pentru tine cu adevarat securitate ,sau ti se rupe inima sa pui un antivirus calumea pe sistem? updateurile de securitate microsoft le face pentru ambele.

inca se ofera full suport pentru xp de la microsoft,in timp ce pentru releasurile anterioare a fost sistat de mult.

Eu chiar nu va inteleg. . .cu ce e mai bun vista ca xp?eu nu am observat nici o diferenta doar consumul excesiv de ram,singurul plus,si cu adevarat plus ar fi directx 10

"The original reason was that DX10 required graphics memory to be virtualisable, a laudable goal. You can see hints of it here and here among other places. This was a good thing, perhaps a really good thing, and Microsoft was clamping down on requirements with the usual subtlety of a convicted monopolist.

This would not work with XP, and that was fine and dandy. It was an honest technical reason why you could not backport DX10 to XP without a major rip and replace operation. Microsoft wasn't going to bend on this one at all.

Then something odd happened. Nvidia had about as much success implementing this required feature as it did with it Me II drivers, that is to say, none. It couldn't do it, but it was required for DX10. What's an arm twisting Vole to do? Backpedal obviously.

So, MS threw NV a life preserver and made GPU memory virtualisation completely optional. ATI, which had implemented a dandy memory virtualisation scheme got screwed, or at least got what everyone who partners with MS got. Oh wait, I said that.

In any case, in doing this, MS removed the only impediment to backporting DX10 to XP, it is now, and has been for quite a while, completely possible. MS is screwing its customers to force an upgrade and you are a pawn in their revenue generation scheme.

Sadly, I will admit that I did upgrade. I went from XP to Ubuntu and bought a Wii. Life could not be better now, gaming is fun again, and spyware is a distant memory"

Download DirectX 10 for Windows XP

Download DirectX 10 for windows XP is available now. This DirectX 10 for windows XP still in alpha stages and isn’t the original of DirectX 10 files from Microsoft. As Microsoft has announced that the DirectX 10 currently support to Windows Vista only.

However, Cody Brocious the Alky Project leader has released a full preview of DirectX 10 Alky preview compatibility libraries for Microsoft DirectX 10 enabled games. These compatibility libraries allow the use of DirectX 10 games on platforms other than Windows Vista , and increase hardware compatibility even on Vista, by compiling Geometry Shaders down to native machine code for execution where hardware isn’t capable of running it. No reason for gamer to change or upgrade the OS and video card(s) to play the latest games.

So, Here is DirectX 10 Alky preview ( Click to download ) which can be used with DX10 SDK.

The DirectX 10 for Windows XP Preview contains a read me file which goes like this :-

To install:
Copy d3d10.dll, d3dx10.dll, d3dx10.dll, dxgi.dll, and Nucleus.dll to C:\windows\system32\

To get the examples:
Follow the instructions on Using Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition with the Microsoft Platform SDK
Download and install the DirectX SDK

To build and run an example:
Go to the Microsoft DirectX SDK folder, Samples, C++, Direct3D10, Tutorials, Tutorial12
Double-click “Tutorial12_2005.sln"
Select “Start Without Debugging" from the Debug menu.

There are a number of known issues with most of the tutorials, but they will all work to some extent. Tutorial 12 is currently the recommended example.
