THE RELEASE OF THE NEW DVD IS IN DANGER TO BE POSTPONED!
According to Finnish tabloid “Iltalehti" (3.2.06) the release of the “End Of An Era" -liveDVD is in danger to be postponed due to some unexpected problems in contracts. Riku Pà¤à¤kkönen, the chief executive of Spin-Farm tells that Tarja’s manager Marcelo Cabuli is demanding the Spin-Farm -company, Nightwish as a band and the management staff to sign a contract that no one of them is allowed to say anything about Tarja or Marcelo, or anything related to them, without written permission from Marcelo. This kind of contract would practically prevent the publishing of the Nightwish -book this spring as well. “We really found the proposal to be strange and soon realized that this kind of a paper cannot be signed. You can’t make contracts like this" says Riku Pà¤à¤kkönen in Iltalehti arcticle. There would be a 250 000 Euros fine for breaking the contract.

The concert in Hartwall-Arena is about to be released as a DVD and as a live-album. To do that the agreement from all the parties is needed and because of this unfortunate mess it seems hard to get one member to sign.
In worst case Finnish fans will have to order their copy of the DVD from outside the Scandinavia.

“Maybe one could see this as another example how the fans are treated.." says Tuomas in Iltalehti article.

Dupa spusele celor de la ziarul finlandez "Italehti", lansarea DVD-ului live "End Of An Era" este in pericol de a fi amanata din cauza unor probleme neprevazute in contract. Riku Paakkonen, seful executiv al "Spin-Farm Records" spune ca managerul Tarjei, Marcelo Cabuli ii cere companiei de mai sus si celor de la Nightwish sa semneze un contract prin care nici unul dintre ei sa nu aiba voie sa spuna nimic despre Tarja si/sau Marcelo, sau nimic referitor la ei, fara permisiunea scrisa a lui Marcelo. Acest tip de contract va preveni practic si publicarea cartii Nightwish in aceasta primavara. "Aceasta propunere este ciudata si am
realizat curand ca acest tip de contract nu poate fi semnat. Nu poti face astfel de
contracte." a spus Riku Paakkonen in articolul acordat revistei. Va fi o amenda de 250000
euro daca acest contract va fi incalcat.
Concertul din Hartwall-Arena este pe cale de a fi lansat ca un DVD si ca un album live. Pentru
asta este nevoie de aprobarea tuturor si din cauza acestei nefericite incurcaturi, pare greu sa
faci un membru sa semneze. In cel mai rau caz, fanii finlandezi vor fi nevoiti sa isi comande
copia DVD-ului din afara Scandinaviei.
"Poate cineva va vedea aceasta ca un alt exemplu de cum sunt tratati fanii..." a spus Tuomas in acelasi articol.

JOE HAHN'S LINKIN PARK UPDATE

Right now we're in the experimental phase of the writing process for our new record. There is no solid direction yet, we're trying to be as eclectic as we can for the moment and then we'll see what stands out the most out of all the music we write, which will give us more of an identity to strive for.

We wanted to step it up as far as working with a producer and really try to create an atmosphere that will challenge us in different ways. We chose Rick Rubin because his credits alone speak a lot about his ability and his open-mindedness as a producer, working on everything from the old Def Jam, Beastie Boys and Run DMC, to Slayer, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think the common denominator with all these groups is that they create great music through the years that has stood the test of time.
When we were discussing producers for our next record, the list of people we were considering was actually pretty small. Fortunately for us, Rick lives in LA and we got to meet up at his house and talk about music, life and approaches to writing, and just kind of have real casual conversation and get to know each other as people. And we really took a liking to him as he did to us, and the more we talked to him it just kind of made sense that we'd try working with him.

With this record we're striving to come up with something different than what we've done before. The first two Linkin Park albums are connecting chapters, and I don't think that this one necessarily needs to connect with those because we've already established our sound. When our band first came out it was really interesting and new, and now that we are established as musicians, I think we need to freshen that up and come up with some different and interesting approaches that pertain to today. We look forward to touring and sharing our new music with all of our fans, hopefully by this summer after our album is complete.

Acum o ora la Rockada pe tv k lumea a fost SOULFLY 'special' au fost si 2 videoklipuri de pe ultimul lor album aparut in octombrie '05 . Nu am retinut numele. Unul a fost filmat la granita Cu Romania. Seamana foarte mult cu Sepultura albumul Chaos A. D. Parca ar fi in lipsa de idei. Nu sau schimbat deloc din 94.
