Политика компании Моторола такова, что сторонние разработчики, создающие мидлеты для мобильных должны покупать у неё сертификаты на доступ к файловой системе, аппаратной части и т.п. Из-за этого владельцы телефонов данной фирмы несправедливо лишены много- и разнообразия полезных, развлекательных и познавательных приложений Java. Оригинальная идея установки такого рода приложений была найдена участниками форума Motofan.ru.

Итак:
В большинстве телефонов Моторола игры и приложения устанавливаются
в папку Kjava. Тоесть после установки приложения через программу
Мидвей в указанной папке появляются такие файлы
(№-номер от ноля)
• j2meâ„–.jar (само приложение)
• j2meâ„–.jad (описание приложения)
• j2meâ„–.pat (разрешения приложения)
• j2meâ„–.rms (saves приложения)

Замена оригинального файла j2me№.pat на файл с открытыми разрешениями
позволит получить желаемый доступ.

Пример:
Перед установкой посмотрите через программу PK2man или PK2Tools,
как идёт нумерация указанных выше файлов в папке Kjava (оказалось есть № 0,2,3)
Установите через программу Мидвей (а в будущем и через PK2Tools) приложение.
Снова посмотрите папку Kjava там должны появиться вышеуказанные файлы (может не все) под номером 1 (или 4).
Удалите появившейся файл j2me1.pat (или j2me4.pat)
Загрузите на его место файл с открытыми разрешениями переименовав его на j2me1.pat
(или j2me4.pat) Установите для него атрибут «4».
Выставите максимум разрешений через контекстное меню на загруженное приложение.
Пользуйтесь доступом.

Или скачайте программу Moto Midlets Manager V0.40 Rc2 (от 06.07.2006) и не парьтесь.
