Quanta Computer, the largest contract laptop PC maker in the world is going to make its own UMPC base on reference designed from Intel and Yahoo. This UMPC will be the company first foray into UMPC market and will runs in Intel’s Viiv technology, incorporating Go TV, Yahoo! photos, music, and miscellanous content. The OS of choice is Microsoft’s Windows XP Tablet Edition. Pricing and availability has not been announced but the Quanta UMPC comes with a QWERTY keypad. One more view...

With the addition of some form of wide area wireless network access, the OQO would become even more of a "middle" (subnotebook / ultra-UMPC / à¼ber-smartphone) device than it already is, and since we're in an indulgent mood, we could even envisage a time when cellphone carriers give the OQO the most glorious feature of all: subsidies. That prospect, dear ladies and gentlemen, gives you one more reason to mark your calendar for the start of the Consumer Electronics Show on January 8, as Mr. Fortt was told this was when the new OQO is to be unveiled.

1) sunt mult prea scumpe (de 1.500 de coco iti cumperi pc sau laptop de-ti pica fata,sau un sony vaio minuscul)

2) dupa 3 ore de stat incontinuu cu ochii in el simti ca iti ia foc creieru-n cap si te dor ochii de mori

3) nu prea vad utilizarea lor,in afara de faptul ca sunt minuscule altceva nu prea mai stiu sa faca...
